Co-Founder and Director of Mathematics at Vanguard, Seaver graduated from the University of California, Irvine, but currently resides in Dallas, Texas. While co-founding Vanguard, he additionally held positions in the professional world. He rose quickly from an analyst to the compliance manager at a mortgage company due to his innovative nature, then began working for one of the Big Four Accounting Firms where he worked closely with partners and managed up to $60 million in revenue. In addition, Seaver has many years of teaching experience. He has held tutoring positions in high school as well as in college. As a mentor in the Big Brother Big Sister program, Seaver has inspired several high school students from underprivileged communities to pursue a higher education. As the Director of Mathematics, he has developed a curriculum that is customizable and can target the special needs of students. Furthermore, he prides himself in not just teaching subjects, but developing “learning skills” in his students, so that they will succeed in high school, college and the working world. His methods have produced a strong track record of students reaching or surpassing their goal score in the ACT and SAT.
