What is Career Counseling?

Know what you love

Your reason for being

Career development is more than just finding a major, coursework, and opportunities that are a means to a job you ultimately desire. It is a dynamic, lifelong process that involves channeling your values, needs, and passions to guide you in making your future career and life decisions.

Career Counseling will help you reflect upon your wants and needs to know and understand both yourself and the world of work, better enabling you to find work which is meaningful, enjoyable, and allows you to live the lifestyle you desire. Many factors influence your career and college journey. However, with preparation that is tailored to your personality, background, and circumstances, you can determine your specific niche and gain the skills to interpret and adapt to the changing information and opportunities in the world of work.
